150th ANNIVERSARY OF START OF CIVIL WAR

150 years ago today, the American Civil War started with the Firing on Ft. Sumter. This important event in American History has been chronicled in books, movies, TV series, and web sites. Of course the Library has many books, documentaries, and entertainment films--some on display in Adult Services. The Library of Congress is one good resource, especially of original material. The History Channel also has extensive material.
