ANNE MCCAFFREY 1926-2011

Prolific, influential, and well/loved Science fiction/fantasy writer Anne McCaffrey passed away a few days ago at the age of 85. Most known for her Pern series, she authored nearly a hundred books comprised of 16 series--some written in collaboration with other writers (including her son Todd)--and many stand-alones. Her creative imagination and wonderful sense of humor will be missed.
