LLOYD ALEXANDER, 1924 -2007

Long-time favorite children's author and Newbery Award winner (for The High King in 1969) Lloyd Alexander died earlier this week. Primarily remembered for his 5-volume Prydian Chronicles, he wrote other fantasy and historical novels for children and adults. A display of those of his works available at the Elk Grove Village Library can be found in Youth Services.
