JOHN UPDIKE, 1932-2009

Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction (1982 and 1991) John Updike died today of lung cancer. A prolific writer since the 1950's, he is popularly remembered as the author of the 4 books about Harry "Rabbit" Angstrum beginning with Rabbit Run He also wrote The Witches of Eastwick and recently the sequel, The Widows of Eastwick.
