Prolific, influential, and well/loved Science fiction/fantasy writer Anne McCaffrey passed away a few days ago at the age of 85. Robert Jordan died yesterday at the age of 58. He was primarily noted for his Science Fiction series, The Wheel of Time--currently 11 volumes. His other most famous series was the 1980's run of Conan the Barbarian stories.
